The Path to St. Patrick’s Day Clip Art
This St. Patrick’s Day will mark my second year of offering free
St.Patrick’s Day clip art to Web surfers. It’s been a long road,
but it’s been worth it. Now that my pages that contain the clip art are climbing
in the search engines, I’ve discovered there’s real money to be made by
offering the images for free. There are a few secrets to doing it; but
it’s a worthwhile pursuit.
The first hurdle I had to go over was to actually create the free St.
Patrick’s Day clip art. Now that it’s done, though, the rest is all
about getting it found. It’s gratifying when people do find it and use
it for fun stuff, especially when they leave a comment and thank me.
It’s even more gratifying when I get paid the various forms of payment
that result from my pages being on the Web. As corny as it may be, it’s enough to make me jump
up and say, “Erin go Bragh!” or “Ireland forever.”
